    It’s only a matter of time before US has a massive famine due to crop failures. It’s also worth considering the fact that a lot of farming practices in US are unsustainable and erode the soil while creating fragile plant mono-cultures.

        Indeed, I’ve become convinced that as long as US stays a dominant world power there is no path towards dealing with climate change. Good news is that US is being significantly affected by the problem, so it’s not going to be just poor countries suffering that the west can continue to ignore.
