You can apply for the young communist league with parental consent:-

      https://leagueofyoungcommunistsusa.net/about/

While I’d implore you to join and get stuck in, It’d be remiss of me to not also warn you about the possibility of long term consequences if you join a communist organisation. You’re still very young and you should be aware that depending on how things go in the future, joining could have long term ramifications for both your professional and personal life.

America has a long history of red scares and blacklists. Red flag laws are still in effect in many US states. Your ability to travel may also be restricted, as other comrades have experienced in the past. If further legal crackdowns occur in the future - something I think is actually likely - you could even stand to have your right to pursue further education denied.

If you’re still determined that you want to join and you can secure your parents’ permission, then that’s absolutely brilliant. That kind of conviction is precisely the mark of a principled and disciplined communist and I’ve no doubt whatsoever that you’ll be an asset to the cause.

Most people here recommend either the PSL (Party for Socialism & Liberation) or the CPUSA (Communist Party USA). They seem to be the biggest in the United States, assuming that is where you are from.
