Serbia no idea, but Ireland is a lot less based than ppl make it out to be. Probably the prime example for what not to do after you have a successful revolution.

I’m not particularly an expert on either two but my guess is that Ireland has been flooded with Western investment which they are now afraid of being locked out of for not playing ball well enough as we saw happen with Russia, while in the case of Serbia they are being bullied militarily by NATO and are simply just too surrounded and poorly lead to resist all that much.
