I’m wondering how much you can run proprietary software on ARM, I don’t think many companies distribute ARM binaries of their software.

I’m sure it’s not really an issue for Drew, but for most people it is.

I think most Android phones use arm binaries. And as far I know the Pinebook is a community product, the Pine64 company hopes it catches on for developers and enthusiasts.

Except for commercial games, which software exactly? Seems like all that stuff is either web-based or only available on Android/iOS these days.

Some really old legacy software runs mostly fine on x86 emulators.
