He raises a very good point. While the west is harping on about mistreatment and so-called genocide of Uyghurs, there has been no international scrutiny of the “immigrant overflow facilities”. Imagine if USA was held accountable to the same degree as China is.
Absolutely. The double standard gets pretty outrageous, like during the Hong Kong protests, which lasted over a year, the HK police didn’t kill a single protestor, yet nearly every week since then, US police have murdered a minority. Yet there’s no international outcry over it, especially from the USs allies, who prefer to focus on HK instead.
