I’m honestly not much of a gamer. I’ll go months without playing. But I’m finally giving this game a shot. I like it so far.

It’s a really fun and well made game. I was a huge Zelda fan as a kid so it was exciting for me to explore the world and see all the classic locations. I do hope the next game has more dungeons and items like the older games though

Ocarina of Time is still one of my favorites. I think that’s the only other Zelda game I’ve played so far. I like how easy this game has been to get into.

    • I would love a return of main dungeons like the classics.

There was ways of making the sequential progress of a zelda game a part of open world design. But they didnt really stuck the landing. Each region should have required the player to beat a few of the mini dungeons before you could gain access to to the ancient beasts. Once you beat the first ancient beast, it should have allowed you to get the master sword and each following beast would upgrade the master sword. 😒

I loved the game anyway. But yeah…

  • It’s a really good game for casual gamers; it’s got a huge amount of content. IIRC I 100%'d it except for the korok seeds and DLCs. I’m told it’s way more emotionally powerful if you’ve played previous zelda games, which I haven’t, but it was still a good time
