This article talks about security issues with Firefox and also Xorg. More comments here : https://lobste.rs/s/eys36p/firefox_chromium (Disclaimer : I like to use FF and object to a Google dominated Internet)

I suggest ignoring this person. We have engaged a fair lot in the past couple years, and he conflates security with privacy and anonymity, and calls Windows superior to Linux.

He is a liar of colossal proportions, to the point he roams around shilling the terribly supported GrapheneOS (absolutely horrific community and devs) and Google Pixels to everyone, and also attacks Android and has bias towards iOS. He repeats most of what Daniel Micay says, and runs GrapheneOS propaganda groups, and is a xenophobic white supremacist.

Currently he runs the NoGoolag and Spite chat groups on Telegram and Matrix, both of which he baselessly banned me on because of personal hatred.

Agreed 100%. He also says VPNs are useless. A tweaked Firefox with Ublock Origin and one or two other extensions like NoScript, can be made to be a ton safer than Chrome/Chromium. As far as windows haven’t touched it in 20 yrs, and in that time not one of my Linux computers has been compromised.

It looks like a lot to surf through his claims but they are pretty shallow. I usually ignore it away these days and focus on my own.

I am glad some people realized who this person is.

In Lemmy, in recent months, I saw GrapheneOS interest between people increasig and towards what their devs and community said even if it was a hypocrite walled garden.

Interesting to see this comment by a cofounder of HardenedBSD : https://lobste.rs/s/eys36p/firefox_chromium#c_tvwxww

I have debunked madaidan’s garbage many times on reddit. He creates a security theater and conflates security with privacy to try to look relevant. Embarrassing and depressing stuff.

This guy explains really well. Please read this link.
