@sizeoftheuniverse@OptimusPrime i choose gplv3 whenever I can. Would not want anyone to pass on my software without giving those users the same rights I want them to have. To each their own, but I care about freedom for everyone, so prefer copyleft

yea for serious projects which should stay free GPLv3 is a really good choice. On my fun projects I chose wtfpl 🙃
For each open source project capable of doing this there are probably many others who can’t.
Shouldn’t the source code have to be released if the license has actually been enforced?
