Spain, Germany, France and Italy have become the latest European countries to temporarily halt the rollout of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine over a small number of blood clot concerns, going against the advice of international medical agencies as a third wave of infections looms over the continent.

Compared to the status on 11 March 2021, additional cases (as of Monday, 15 March 2021) have now been reported in Germany. Analysing the new data status, the experts of the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut now see a striking accumulation of a special form of very rare cerebral vein thrombosis (sinus vein thrombosis) in connection with a deficiency of blood platelets (thrombocytopenia) and bleeding in temporal proximity to vaccinations with the COVID-19 vaccine AstraZeneca.
Many news sources (including the submission) miss the aspect that it isn’t about normal “blood clots.”
Because the thrombosis has not only affected the brain, for example I know in Italy there have been cases of bowel infarction.

Experimental vaccine death rate for Israel’s elderly 40 times higher than COVID-19 deaths:
A quick back-of-the-envelope calculation shows that Covid-19 deaths prevented by this vaccine would be higher than possible deaths cause by it.
How do you know it? Can you prove it?

This doesn’t even remotely answer my question.
A little brain food: how do you estimate how many people would actually get sick and actually die without this vaccine? How do you take into account the variants of the virus? How do you know that the variants won’t affect the action of the vaccine so much that it is an unnecessary risk? And finally, what does the effectiveness of the vaccine have to do with the key factor of this story, namely the fact that the SarsCov2 infection is treated better and better every day? Now even the sick with chronic symptoms can be treated.
