    I really want this, but I mostly just hope they take the opportunity to fix their dpad rocking problems.

      That is quite easy to fix as a DIY solution, 8bitdo has likely made fixes to their later controller models. You have to put electrical tape or paper donuts around the contacts. In addition to the contacts, you also have to stick four small blue tack balls into each of the 4 circular pits on the underside of the D-Pad. The buttons will be a lot more firm and there is less of a chance to hit diagonals on the D-pad accidentally. (pics taken from Reddit’s /r/8bitdo)

        I’ve done the fix and even then it’s only partial. Unfortunately it’s a thing I’ve experienced on several controllers of theirs over several models, and people I know who’ve experienced it still do even on the newest ones before this.

        It’s a fundamental problem with their dpad design that they’ve seemed completely uninterested in fixing.

      I’ve never used one but I hear they’re the gold standard for controllers.
