Modern copyright is the attempt to completely arrest the development of culture.

I seriously doubt there’s any way theyre making anything significant off a game thats 2 decades old.
The way dmca works means they have to ask questions later and take down now, hopefully they can dispute it :/
If the source code was already public there surely must be some copies that will later be posted. I wouldn’t sweat it.
Like with the Super Mario 64 decompilation project, it’s like Hercules battling Hydra.
There’s a pr on the GitHub dmca repo containing at least the re3 code.
