The Free service is changing dramatically on March 16th, 2021, when LastPass will restrict free accounts to either a ‘Computer’ or ‘Mobile’ device platform simultaneously. For example, LastPass Free users will be able to use the service on their Android and iOS mobile devices simultaneously but not on computers or vice-versa.

Even the premium version of BitWarden is half the price of LastPass’ Premium offering, and it does all it needs to do including generating of 2FA codes all built in. I exported my 900+ passwords from LastPass into BitWarden two years ago, and have never looked back.

They are both nearly the same. Use lesspass for a more modern approach. Much easier and more secure.

      lesspass

KeePassXC (PC) and KeePassDX (Android) are far better than Bitwarden and LastPass. Still, LessPass it’s a good alternative.

Don’t think LessPass tracks additional info apart from password algorithm, nor built in 2FA?

No it doesn’t track anything. It won’t remember your username, and certainly not your biometrics or bank/phone details (if that’s what you mean by 2FA). That’s what i like about it. It’s simple and secure.

It won’t work everywhere but it’s very handy for most sites. Some website with very bad and dangerous security practices like 2FA (or even 3FA) - it won’t work for them.

No, I meant no 2FA via YubiKey or other to access the actual app on your device.
