all thats old is new again.

they are just announcing features they removed when they tried to streamline the browser experience on mobile and desktop.

can’t wait for them to announce with lots of fanfare you can run extensions on android again (which were denied just to please apple to allow the ios store release)

sigh, shit is so tiring.

It says that Firefox for Android will support saving webpages as PDF, via an action in the Share-menu. It might release with Firefox 107 on the 15th November, but could also come with a later version, if they run into any larger issues during testing.

By being able to view it as a PDF, you can also then print that PDF, so that indirectly allows printing webpages, which was another popularly requested feature.

And https://feddit.de is a German instance, so people will regularly post German articles. Maybe your instance doesn’t want to federate, if you guys don’t generally understand German… :P

We be nice to have a way to save a webpage as a WARC, and have them both available outside of Firefox for archival, but also in an “Offline” section within the app.

Ah, crap, I’m viewing this in Lemmur (Android-App) where for some reason, it says “firefox@feddit.de” at the top.

In that case, @bluelupo@feddit.de, did you maybe post to the wrong community? I saw you created https://feddit.de/c/firefoxbrowser .
