I am pretty much looking for all kinds of quality left analysis I can play in the background at work. My job involves zero human interaction 95% of the time and I can wear earbuds, so it doesn’t need to be super sanitized or anything like mainstream news. I’m a big fan of the socialist program with Brian Becker, as well as pretty much everything put out by Breakthrough News and Multipolarista. They’re pretty big though and I’m struggling to find much else as I don’t really use any other social media. Also really like Revolutionary Left Radio and their theory podcast Red Menace, so theory heavy stuff is more than welcome.

  • In addition to what you mentioned:

    • Communist: Danny Haiphong (streams and clips), Proles of the Round Table (podcast), Marx Madness (podcast), The Punchout (podcast)
    • Not communist, but anti-imperialist: The New Atlas (highly recommended), Richard Medhurst (streams and clips)

The Deprogram is great, Multipolarista is great for current events. Blowback is a good one(S1 is Iraq, S2 is Cuba, S3 is DPRK i think) and I really enjoy Chapo Traphouse

-American Exception (hosted by historian Aaron Good - he collaborates with Ben Norton frequently). Largely about the history of the US security state (deep state).

-People’s History of Ideas - deep dive into the history of the Chinese Revolution. I’m still about halfway through. There’s a lot of material and can get kind of dense sometimes. You’ll either love it or be bored to tears depending on what you like.

-The Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution Podcast. This is a new podcast that only has a few episodes so far. It is an overview of the Cultural Revolution. The host, Andrew Smith, has a really entertaining personality. I’ve really enjoyed it so far.

-1Dime Radio - I found this podcast randomly (he also has a YouTube channel). I find the topics extremely interesting usually. The host claims to identify as a Marxist politically, but thinks some theory needs to be updated. I don’t agree with everything he says, but most of the episodes are really informative and interesting.
