The most active mod, @CAP_NAME_NOW_UPVOTE@lemmy.ml, has not posted or commented in six months. I don’t know if he’s been on Lemmy since, or if six months is long enough to have a community transferred though.

Speaking of !linux , I have a problem with @CAP_NAME_NOW_UPVOTE being a moderator there.

He is also a moderator of /r/linux on Reddit, and I have very unpleasant experience with him. One of my posts got removed there. I send modmail where I ask moderators to reconsider, but then this guy just bans me. Of course I tried to discuss the issue, but all I got from him was completely unreasonable behaviour.

But don’t take my word for it. He pissed off @sirsquid (owner of gamingonlinux.com, /u/liamdgol/ on Reddit) so badly that Liam made a new subreddit for Linux (/r/Linuxers). I don’t know what exactly was the issue, but it must have been quite bad.

Apparently this guy has forgotten that Lemmy exists, but I am concerned about what will happen when Lemmy grows more popular and he remembers that he still has moderator privileges on one of the biggest communities here.

@AgreeableLandscape, I welcome you as the new moderator of !linux , and I hope that you will take good care of it.
