    I think that someone here mentioned that the .ml domain is free and therefore often used by spammers and others. Facebook might have put a blanket ban on .ml domains.

      I tested this months ago and there were some .ml domains that didn’t get filtered out on Facebook. However some of the biggest .ml sites are just those “YOU WON AN IPAD!” poo pieces.

    I also saw a R$ddit post about WhatsApp pointing to a 404 page for links to Signal. Sounds about right to me.
