I know that that sub is being brigaded by libs and fascists but why are they the majority? I see communisg comments constantly mass down voted and anticommunist (and even racist ones) getting hundreds of up votes, why this scum hasn’t being purged?

Them not having enough mods has been a problem for a long time now, and they haven’t done anything to fix it afaaik.
Reddit is virtually unusable now. I finally deleted my account and the Apollo app.
I agree, though I still have my account and redreader on my phone because every so often someone will send me a reddit post. But I no longer go there on my own.
Reactionary brigaiders are attacking it, as someone said. I have a whole bunch of messages into the admins, but I wouldn’t expect to hear back until tuesday.
I’m trying to leverage the power of some fairly large subreddits to get something done about it, but it’s gonna take a bit.
edit: the same people brigading it are also mass reporting comments by ML reddit users. Their sub is r/lbtv. They’re spamming reports trying to get individual ML accounts banned.
Their mod is offline and they don’t even have any rules, that’s why
that subreddit needs more mod oversight to be able to purge reactionaries.

This should not be a surprise. How can communists win without the authority of moderation in our spaces? We cannot. We are hopelessly outnumbered both organically and by western Mil-Int bot farms. Add that you’re on a platform controlled by those same people and it’s obvious what would happen to a space with one moderator who doesn’t have the time or inclination to be super-active.
Let this be a lesson. I’d abandon that sub and not look back. Jingjing had good intentions but that is as we see here clearly not enough. The reactionaries are going to get that sub banned because of lack of moderation most likely and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them try to reddit-request it after and make it officially anti-communist.
IMO move on. Don’t fight, don’t play their games on their platforms on an uneven field. Go back to sino, go back to genzedong and so on and so forth. Let the reactionaries have an unimportant sub that was largely a cross-posting space for one person’s content (good as it might have been) and don’t be bothered by it.
Jingjing made choices. Only she can decide what to do. The best thing would be to lock the sub down, private it and re-open with new mods slowly with approved submissions only and a heavy ban-hammer hand. If she’s not willing to do that then we can’t fix that.
