KFC seems to be serious with that thing, they released a trailer in June.

Looks like an attempt to gain “viral marketing” by making a stupid idea looks profound. Chances are, it’ll have a lot more problems than what you listed coming up in that product, so it’s just really a marketing fad.
Well, from what I read it uses the heat from the computer to warm the food, so that’s not an issue, but yeah, it looks like shit and another closed walled garden.
