In The Netherlands and Belgium we (well, not I) clapped as a nation at 8 pm this one time to show our appreciation for health care workers during COVID. All the people were standing in their gardens, clapping.

That’s it. I wonder how many meals that applause gave them.

(as a bonus the population of The Netherlands then did everything they could to ignore every possible measurement the government gave us, because muh freedom)
