When explosions ripped through a Philadelphia oil refinery last year, the shock waves knocked Felicia Menna’s front door frame out of place. Then came the black smoke.

Air pollution being one of my bugaboos, I do not like to hear this. One of the frustrating parts is knowing that a grassroots approach can only really be helpful in putting pressure on to improve the official measurements.
