Addis Ababa, November 27, 2020 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) and the Israeli National Intelligence Agency (Mossad) have agreed to cooperate in areas of peace and security and jointly fighting terrorism.Temesgen

The special envoy appreciated Ethiopia’s firm stance to prevent and uproot terrorism and reiterated Mossad’s commitment to work together with and strengthen its support to NISS.

With the tense Tigray crisis at its highest, I guess it is only normal to remind the population who else is on your side. Not sure how recent claims that the crisis is a domestic affair square with the timing of this announcement.
