So is invidious like PeerTube?


Not quite sure how it works, but it seems to mirror YouTube-videos so you can watch them with increased privacy. So no uploading to the instance, as far as I understand. I’m unsure if different instances actually communicate between each other or have the ability to federate, like PeerTube can.


They don’t need to federate. Invidious is more like a proxy service for youtube. But its still decentralized, so you can choose any instance from
