Are there many persimmon recipes? Across different cultures?

I always wanted a persimmon tree when I was younger but I didn’t know anything about their odd propensities. If they were more commercially popular, I imagine there’d be more research into their graft failures and such. I wish we funded more research like that–no one ever gives ag schools their due.
