Looking for some more good ones to watch. Preferably not “jump-scary”, I like slow-burners better.

It Follows and Midsommar are both really good “slow burn” horror movies. My favorite horror movie is the original Evil Dead.

It Follows is really good, I don’t remember it but I remember not liking the ending. Evil Dead 2 is like my favorite movie ever, first one definitely had soul though

I also love Evil Dead 2, super hard for me to decide if I like the first or second better. IMO the first has better horror while the second makes it up with more charm and comedy.

John Carpenter’s “The Thing” is one of my all time favorite movies. So that. Also “The Witch” 2015 film is fuck all creepy. Those same people made another film not too long ago that’s a more modern demon possession movie and it’s spot of creepy as all fuck. Neither of them have too many junk scares it’s more the just suuuper creepy and the setting and everything.

Edit: “Hereditary” that the name of the other movie. It’s fuck all creepy.

Don’t feed the plants from Little Shop of Horrors freaks me the fuck out. Little Shop of Horrors with the alternative ending might be the only “horror” movie that creeped me out.

I’ve seen some differ horror movies from terror movies. The “jump-scary” ones they’d label as terror. Great horror movies, for me, are the ones which leaves a lasting traumatizing experience. Look no further than Gaspar Noé.

From him, I recommend Climax (2018) and Irreversible (2002). Irreversible was an extremely haunting experience

The Shining (1980). Also the series Hauting of Hill House is quite good too.

I have many, but The Conjuring 1 and 2 are all time favorites, I can’t decide which one is better, also spin-offs, but main series is of course the best, most of the movies from James Wan are masterpieces, but Conjuring is top notch, oh and by the way, they are based on a true story.

Other favorites are: Alien 1 and 2, A Nightmare on Elm Street 1-4, Halloween 1978, 2018 and Kills, The Silence of the Lambs, Friday the 13th 1-6 and The Shining.

Head count (2018). It’s a lesser known movie with a limited budget, but I liked the concept of the monster and it’s a slow-burner.

Not sure if it is my all time fav but I really liked Creep (2014). It’s imo a solid scary movie despite being goofy as well.

Gerald’s Game is also surprisingly good. It’s such a simple concept but the execution is very good.

Village of the Damned is a lesser known one of you want to go on a more old school tour.

Creep is more found footage style video of a guu that goes mental and becomes serial killer/stalker. It’s goofy but also pretty intense at times.
