Also I agree with the comments. I read the Shield Hero LN (to chapter 16) and I think that it was OK; still better than most shitty isekais I read.

The anime though? Nah. Kadokawa took all the nuance and cut so many scenes from the LN that it just ruined the story.

        Tbh I had heard of this word before mainly from the Citations Needed podcast but didn’t know what it meant until I just checked to comment here. From context I just assumed it was something that libs do a lot.
