She wants to go shopping. I tell her that I just want rice. She ignores my request and buys spicy food, which I can’t eat because of reflux.

She keeps buying food that only one person will eat, when I tell her to buy food that everyone can eat, she just changes the topic and doesn’t listen to me.

Her behavior is degrading my socialist values. :/

My mother kind of used to do the same, only she would buy a shit ton of junk food so someone always ended up eating junk food, which made me eat some too, and I was trying not to.

Chill, as long as one person eat it and is not going to be wasted, is not a waste. I always by food for myself lol.

my mom is like that too. and my parents think I’m weird when I say we should get a big freezer and when I try to freeze stuff I’m not going to eat immediately.

If she gets weird stuff try cooking it all together in a batch before it goes bad and freeze what you cooked. and try finding new ways to use the ingredients in snacks and simple stuff.

As a “sociopath”~, I will tell you that unless you figure out the way to talk with her and explain to her why this behavior “hurts” you you’re only gonna sound whiney every single time you complain. If you want her to chnage her behaviour, you’re better off looking the way she can be convinced. People don’t like being treated like they’re dumbasses.

I’m not charismatic either, I’m extremely socially awkward. It’s just a matter of learning how other people have success talking and convincing people and trying it out.
