Cookie consent banners.
Ugh yeah, especially when they block like A THIRD of the screen >___>
This one’s super frustrating because they were made compulsory by the EU with the best of intentions, to help users be aware of tracking and information being kept on their machine about their browsing, and probably to discourage use of cookies generally. But the only thing that has changed is we get spammed by banners

The fact that Lemmy upvotes/downvotes are blue/red instead of something more natural like green/red. I see that communities are highlighted green, perhaps they could be swapped?
Red and green is a little bit sucky for colourblind people. But I do agree that making it opposite to reddit confuses me a little
Ah, hadn’t thought of that.
Don’t the various themes change those colors?
I didn’t realize there were other themes! Nice. And yes, some of them change the colors a bit.

I cannot deal with contact sounds from upstairs neighbors. Thank god for custom-fit earplugs and ANC headphones. Maybe I should move out of the city…
Also: Washing machine (my own), laptop fans, coil whining, lawn mowers.

And use it exclusively on the ceiling?
Family members using your things AND NOT FREAKIN PUTTING THEM BACK. >:(
People who describe YouTube’s thumbs down as a downvote. Bugs me for some reason.

I wouldn’t call that minor. Should definitely be illegal.
In most countries there are laws against it, but I’ve no idea how often they are enforced

Here in Thailand it’s quite popular for teens to mod their shitty little scooter with loud pipes. It’s really annoying and illegal though recently police finally started to crack down on them. We even have a name for kids who do this: “dek waan” where “dek” means kid and “waan” the annoying sound the bike makes.
Here’s an article just to illustrate the problem:

police hire a steam roller to destroy over 700 illegal motorbike exhausts
My neighbors do that at 10 at night and it’s so obnoxious
Murder should be legal
