Hello! This question can seems stupid because I felt like creating a torrent was easy. But it’s clear that I just cannot figure out how to create one.

I used both qBitTorrent and Transmission but none of these have been able to create a torrent.

I tested it on a simple image, I took a list of trackers that I added, I used another app to download the torrent file, and then…

“0 peers connected” none of the 2 apps tells that there is any peer connected.

I don’t understand why I cannot download the torrent, while I can download all the other torrents.

Only some trackers detects that a peer is trying to download it. But nothing is moving.

Can you help me?

    It’s hard to know exactly what’s wrong with your setup. Maybe you need different trackers?

    How long did you give it for your file to download between two devices? Sometimes it takes a while for trackers to update.

    Also, what’s your use case? If you just want to send a file between two people something like https://webwormhole.io/ may be easier for you.

      But the torrent cannot be downloaded either and I get the same result.

      I just tried with another computer. I tried it using the magnet link and it is stucked at “Downloading metadata from 1 peer 0%”.

    My guess is you have some network issues going on, does your torrent client upload anything to peers?

      No it doesn’t uploads things it says “0 Ko/s” but only for this torrent my other torrents are working fine.

      Even to be more sure I paused all the other torrents to see if it changes but nothing changes.

      Also, u/ray gave a website to create a torrent, but it didn’t worked either. I used another website to upload my file in torrent but didn’t worked either.

      I am starting to think that this image just can’t be uploaded xD I don’t know if it is possible.
