Hello! I want to share this here, since these communities have destroyed the privacy scene in almost every large privacy forum on the internet.

#THE FOUR CULT ANTI-PRIVACY ARMIES

##APPLE

Apple cult armies are in denial of Apple devices being privacy nightmares due to being closed source blackboxes. These are good for no more than protecting your data from your nosy girlfriend or the neighbour computer whiz kid.

There is plenty of evidence that goes to prove why Apple devices are nightmares for privacy. This is a comprehensive list of links, images and articles for read:

##Brave

Brave Browser is funded by DoD: https://np.reddit.com/r/privatelife/comments/fe34ls/exclusive_brave_browser_funded_by_dod_contractor/

Brave traffic detected with Cryptocompare despite BAT rewards disabled: https://removeddit.com/r/privacytoolsIO/comments/gr8nue/

Brave also has a known history of whitelisting Facebook and Twitter trackers, and has a crippled adblocker that does not work on Brave’s “acceptable” advertisements.

NEW EVIDENCE (June 6, 2020): Brave Browser hardcoded their crypto partner Binance referral links (https://twitter.com/cryptonator1337/status/1269201480105578496) alongwith Ledger and soon-to-be-compromised Coinbase (https://decrypt.co/31461/coinbase-wants-to-identify-bitcoin-users-for-dea-irs)

##Chrome

These people are partly joint with the GrapheneOS cult, primarily due to its lead developer orchestrating all these things in hindsight and his followers purposely sharing his opinion garbage as “facts”.

Most of this was debunked by u/saintjohnny (no longer on reddit) here: https://removeddit.com/r/firefox/comments/gokcis/

Ridiculous things like lead developer accusing r/firefox of being a “deployed” army against him and 4chan being used to harm his image: https://i.postimg.cc/3RwLT8Nj/Screenshot-from-2020-05-26-23-10-20.png

##GrapheneOS

The moderator u trai_dep has taken his time to censor me off completely, so that none of my criticisms can be ever read about his dictatorial moderation and the GrapheneOS discussion I had with its lead developer, who at the end gave me plenty evidence about his rudeness, ironically which was against the rules of the subreddit.

https://removeddit.com/r/privacytoolsIO/comments/gs4uv7/_/fs2ysdm/

Criticism of GrapheneOS lies on one of his comments about OnePlus and Xiaomi apparently not making good enough devices: https://np.reddit.com/r/privacytoolsIO/comments/gs4uv7/i_dont_fully_trust_grapheneos/fs82fdv/

There is also the issue that he always claims Google Pixel 3/3a is a must with Titan M chip running non verifiable code that one has to rely on for Google’s claim of being same as open sourced code, and that it does not have spyware. And he maintains his stand about developing the ROM exclusively for the Pixel devices, which also house Pixel Visual Core, a proprietary Google-only CPU+GPU unit independent of the Snapdragon SoC and with negligible documentation claimed “only” to be used for HDR+ camera algorithm processing. Google has had a history of lying with things like the Location History toggle, or their known data collection business and known relationship with NSA.

Thank you for posting about this, these types have been insufferable in privacy circles on reddit.

That trai_dep dictator on both the privacy subreddits angered me so much I took up the task myself to create a non bigot and non cult privacy community alternative. He pissed me off. My blood boils everyday because of what he and those flourishing anti-privacy cults do to privacy communities.

“Rudeness”. What are you expecting? You do not only jump to conclusions, you attack them because of things they did not do, “look on how many followers of yours engage in this behaviour”.

Also, closed source does not mean unauditable. Why do you think Universal Android Debloater exists? Because experienced people can monitor what the programs are doing. Have you heard of mitmproxy?

I fully trust GrapheneOS, and I find myself offended by this because thanks to people as stubborn as you, GrapheneOS is getting a bad reputation with no reason at all.

LineageOS is not fully Google-free ─ it has some Google services it needs.

Also, one moderator does not represent the entire organization. There may as well be rude staff ─ one of the reasons why CopperheadOS (GOS’s ancestor) split was because of corruption among the staff, with the company today known as Copperhead being what is left of the corrupted staff.

Not only that, Google Pixel 3 models are no longer being recommended by:

because Google Pixel 3 is near EoL, and around that time, the device will no longer will receive security updates. There is a reason why the Pixel 2 appears as “obsolete” in the downloads.

Oh ─ would you look at that. Edward Snowden also praised GrapheneOS, while also suggesting security measures based on his threat model.

If GrapheneOS is not safe because of the smartphone you need, Qubes OS will never be safe on any computer because of AMD/Intel CPUs.

There is no way you could compare GrapheneOS with Apple and Google privacy-wise. It is absolutely frustrating for me to think somebody would do such a thing.

You do not only jump to conclusions, you attack them because of things they did not do, “look on how many followers of yours engage in this behaviour”.

False logic. I attack their arguments, and if the people engage into a behaviour as a groupthink cult, they will be called out.

Also, closed source does not mean unauditable. Why do you think Universal Android Debloater exists? Because experienced people can monitor what the programs are doing. Have you heard of mitmproxy?

Anyone who unironically says “muh mitm it” everytime, it is a nice proof of that they themself never did it. Closed source means unauditable, you anti FOSS shill. Also, I can use Wireshark, and read manifest and classes of apps.

I fully trust GrapheneOS, and I find myself offended by this because thanks to people as stubborn as you, GrapheneOS is getting a bad reputation with no reason at all.

I do not care. Just about all GrapheneOS users are absolute assholes because I have been in their communities for a good amount of a year across various platforms. They are toxic, believe in spreading propaganda, preaching anti FOSS garbage and even going around with their politics of hating other genders or races of people.

Also, one moderator does not represent the entire organization. There may as well be rude staff ─ one of the reasons why CopperheadOS (GOS’s ancestor) split was because of corruption among the staff, with the company today known as Copperhead being what is left of the corrupted staff.

I wonder where did I mention madaidan or cn3m… I did not. You are caught. Game over.

      snowden

Snowden also praised Signal recently. Now we have closed source servers since a year. I wonder what he has to say today about the anti federation anti transparent Moxie going around deleting critic GitHub threads. He may be an expert on OS and security, but probably does not know what its users and key participants go around promoting. He definitely does not know everything and is not a God.

      threat model

Snowden has an entirely different OPSEC than bunch of you LARPers. I hope you can understand that. He takes a bunch of different steps IRL and virtually, and lives a different life than you or even I do.

I am threatened by keyboard warriors with death threats. I have been trolled in horrific ways. People call me XYZ shill and even report me for Suicide Prevention care on reddit. Because of these things I have kept my identity anonymous.

What problems do you face? And what problems does Snowden face compared to me? He lives in Russia, arch enemy country of USA for a reason. USA will take no moment in snipering him out or bombing his place using a drone missile.

There is no way you could compare GrapheneOS with Apple and Google privacy-wise. It is absolutely frustrating for me to think somebody would do such a thing.

If you have problems with what others think, and want to do think policing, you need to go to a hospital ASAP.

Whatever you have spoken is exactly on the lines of what GrapheneOS group dictates its users, to spread promotional propaganda and do it in a sublime manner.

Brave is cryptominer spying malware that is using privacy as a marketing tool the same way as Big Tech giants do.

Minimalism is an extreme end, and misses the nuances of the more feature rich bloated computing of today. Therefore it is not a perfect approach by design.

Living a private life is pretty hard in a sedentary city culture today, which is where and why the other giant privacy communities on reddit and elsewhere failed. They cannot even teach OPSEC, which I do. They cannot teach minimalism, which I do. They do not teach simple living, which I do. Many nuances that I have a grip on, unlike most others.

You must not recommend Brave over Ungoogled Chromium or Firefox. Brave is simoly malware attached to Chromium. It does not benefit privacy of users just because it seems so.

Calling Brave better than Google Chrome is like saying Apple is better than Google. Fundamentally false statements.
