Dialectical materialism can explain the patient’s conditions in a realistic manner; DM can help alleviate (not destroy) fears of the unknown world in patients.

DM could give patients a tool to help parse the complex world and their problems.

    The whole psychological and psychiatric science field got formed more or less in the second half of the 20th century and the basis for it were insane rumblings of some idealistic weirdos. The Soviet psychological school never had an opportunity to develop and prosper due to many factors.

    It would’ve been interesting to see some actual marxist psychology science develop in the future.

        I honestly can’t take modern psychology seriously. The most advanced field of modern analysis is heavily based on Freud and Jung to the point where their ramblings were seriously taught as a part of our psychology program in uni back in the day.
