    Note that despite the first heading in their readme being “Open Source Training Data Platform”, and despite “Support modification of source code” being a point in the Vision section of that readme, this is not currently free open source software. Users are explicitly forbidden from modifying it or redistributing it or even running it for more than 20 users without paying them for a license.

    They deceptively use the term “open source” to market their product despite the fact that it doesn’t remotely meet the term’s widely-understood and accepted definition. They should stop doing that.

      Yeah, that part is pretty sketchy. I also dislike when companies make it sound like something is open source when it really isn’t as a marketing tactic.
