Yeah some trolls just post pictures of scat porn and gore. Sadly usually some user has to see them before it is reported.

Yup, both Lemmy.ml and lemmygrad have problems with people posting scat porn, as well as gore and gore porn. It’s disgusting and even as an admin of Lemmy.ml, I have seen way too much of that shit (heh) for this and any subsequent lifetimes. Can’t imagine it’s better on the much more conyroversial-among-the-general-public Lemmygrad.

I got kicked off r/SLS just today bc I disagreed w a Scottish Leftist who was being chauvinistic towards Irish(which I am). I sent him my fav Irish song abt UK https://youtu.be/aLUEJ0aNfCI And then I got downvoted and banned w no reason given. The dude was talking about how he was a Rangers fan for context in one of his replies so I sent this and they told me they refuse to watch what I sent(lol like I GAF) and that Celt fans and people like them are dumb and follow each other blindly. I got banned, they are fine. Kinda for the better tho, I also got kicked from CoolAmericaFacts and now my goal is to just troll libs until I get permabanned from Reddit (again)

Not disagreeing with your stance (I love Z-posting), but you need to be more subtle when conversing against the mainstream narrative to more liberal leftists, I changed my Polish friend’s opinion on the legitimacy of Donbass’ rightful sovereignty but only by mentioning Bandera, Wołyń massacre denial, Zelensky being a puppet, election meddling, Pandora papers explaining why alot of Ukrainians work for pennies etc.
I absolutely couldn’t agree with you more. I definitely think that subtly goes a long way. The only reason I did it was bc I don’t like Reddit anymore and most subs have gotten worse. I probably check Lemmy everyday and Reddit once or twice a week but once I get kicked off of a few more I’ll be content with letting that toxicity go
