I looked up the name of someone from my country and I found a news article from early march where it confirmed that he went to fight in Ukraine. Couldn’t be bothered to do more research, but at least it shows some of the names are legit.
Nice, would be cool if we could make a list of people confirmed or something.
Don’t think everyone on this list is a member of a foreign legion. I googled some names from my country and it showed some journalists as well.

Yes the journalist is indeed in Ukraine. Tried to look up some names and I managed to track some down I think. Nothing crazy, just normal people posting stuff on Ukraine. But no people boasting about going and stuff.
The list does seem to be recent though. There have been stories of people returning from Ukraine because, apparently, war is scary and their names don’t seem to be on them.

i ve found two Austrians. seem to be (embedded) journalists for austrians rightwing boulevard newspaper - which is also a hotbed of rightwing identitarian opinion making and NATO propaganda.

unlikely to be combatants themselves… more propagandists for the western newspapers and as such in their telephone contacts. Enzinger himself is with the newspaper since 2002, i very much doubt that he is a combatant, just a little paper jockey who wanted to do something “cool” or idk…
I know one of the war tourists as he was one class above me in uni, but could not find his name on the list.
