Looks like they were aiming at the Red Army memorials. I’m not saying this is remotely excusable and I hope the perps get punished, but the headline is misleading, especially in the context of the Ukrainian war.
You are wrong, one of them is a memorial for a concentration camp.
Yeah, I noticed that. My guess is that they couldn’t read the German and thought it was related to the Red Army memorial. And again, none of this is excusing defacing either memorial, especially with fascist symbols.
