I guess I’ll do one of these. It’s not usually my style, but there are some things I want to do differently from now on. I feel like community is only going to be more critical going forward, so I’ve gotta start somewhere, right?

I’m already pretty experienced with the fediverse, but lemmy never really seemed to click (The obvious issues with Blåhaj and a few others) but it just never felt right, I guess? I don’t know. This place seems more my speed. Also, after the kolektiva fiasco on mastodon, I’m more hesitant of joining until I feel like the I can trust the admin, at least a bit.

I’m going to make an effort to actually engage with the community here and not just be a shy lurker. Let’s see lol
