I know it’s not what you’re asking for but I’ve never actually used apps for either of these sites because they work fine in web browsers. Unless you need it for the notifications, it’s kind of a waste of space to have separate apps for them.

If you need it for the notifications, you could try an rss feed reader. I haven’t used an rss feed reader on android in years, so I don’t have any recommendations, I think I remember feedly being ok. YouTube supports rss feeds natively and I’ve read that there is a work around for Twitter but I have no idea how relievable it is.

Which is a feature privacy-wise. Personally I subscribe to channels I want to follow locally, make local playlists and export them periodically to retain my data.
