Drama notwithstanding (the whole thing with the founder of GenZAnarchist turning ML and repurposing the sub as they were still top mod), there’s a lot of bullshit in the comments. I’m planning on participating to help rectify some people’s understanding but I’m hoping I’m not along in this, as it would be a losing battle if I were by myself.

In this case I think we’re better off going straight into it with facts and the C I V I L discussion libs are so fond of. I would like to be sarcastic with some of them but I’m not sure it’s going to bring anything good. We’re already being demonized with the subreddit thing and in the comments too.

They are talking of how this follows a trend of betrayal of anarchists by communists. How is this betrayal? It’s not like they liked communists, had any faith in them, put their trust in them or so on. Or am I missing something?

Its kind of funny how pissed off they are about some community getting taken over. As if they wouldnt celebrate if the same thing happened in reverse.

You’re right. I try to stay clear of online drama but when moretankiechapo was banned, anarchists were celebrating, not understanding that soon their turn would come.

If anarchists don’t want to be coup’ed then they should simply write new forum software without any mods or admins that way there is no power to fight over. QED.
