On most pictures, exiting out of the viewing page by swiping down does not seem to work reliably. If the picture is covering at least around 60% of the display, swiping works ok, but anything smaller than that, and the picture “bounces” back into view and I can only exit via the “X” button.
All new image viewer will be on your device hopefully by tomorrow! Releasing update now.

one little thing: the cross is now a grey circle? is the icon missing?
There also a minor delay after exiting the image view. The touchscreen doesn’t respond until you interact with it twice.
This is fixed too 👍👍
I think devs will soon ship an update with a new image viewer component, that will probably solve the problem
