Frankie Boyle, he’s pretty based as far as Comedians go. He isn’t a Marxist and would probably count as a lib but im not sure if that’s because he hasn’t been exposed enough to leftism or just to keep his comedy career from getting purged. His heart is definitely on the far left even if his brain isn’t, he has said some pretty outspoken things about Israel before and lost work from it, and they kicked him off Mock the Week for being too edgy in theory but definitely partly because of his politics too.

It’s always interesting to think how far left ‘left-wing’ celebrities/politicians are. I often wonder how far left Corbyn actually is for example. He says a lot of thing which go way beyond the average socdem

He’s an open socialist but he screwed up his chances by being too open about it and doing political suicide stuff like meeting literal terrorists, and his anti-vax brother doesnt help.

He’s definitely a socialist but I’m not sure exactly how far. I think his choices were as you say ‘political suicide’ or basically becoming Bernie which isn’t ideal. He made the best decision from what he had, it’s better to be a dissenting voice in parliament than an ineffectual Prime Minister. Ultimately the political establishment would never allow real change as we all know and I only hope Corbyn trying that path and failing radicalised some would-be socdems.
