    Someone will inevitably complain about why do these highly paid actors need a union, not making the connection that one of the reasons they remain highly paid is that they are unionized.

      Not just that, but all of those people in the background are getting about $3000 a week. Great pay in some places, but you’re not going to be living in a mansion in L.A. on that. Not to mention, they might be getting that wage for one week, four times a year.

    Glad it got made before Hollywood finally crashed. This isn’t going to get resolved the way actors and writers would like. The old Hollywood isn’t coming back and studios are going to be much leaner and less eager to take risks in the future.

      Hollywood is the last place in the US where workers actually hold any power. They’re not going down without a fight.

      Studios are already not taking any risks. Go look at the list of movies that came out in 1992 or 1994 and then look at what came out in 2019 and tell me that studios are taking any risks at all.

    Oh boy, more greedy people need more money to satisfy even greedier people.

    Good thing they deserve more money than, you know, the subsistence farmers in Africa.
