I wrote an article about a week ago on this subject regarding the UK. It’s already a global crisis. Successive governments here have done little to address the issue, and the gap between the rich and poor is only widening. It’s not just social trust that is being decimated by this, but trust in many traditional support structures too. Health services, social services, even educational services to a degree.
