The whole thing is interesting, but some key copy + pastes from the article are below:
- Russian Twitter Accounts That Disseminated Propaganda Posted Mostly During Working Days
- The pro-Putin network included roughly 60 Twitter accounts, over 100 on TikTok, and at least seven on Instagram
- The Internet Research Agency is a private company owned by Yevgeny Prigozhin, a Russian entrepreneur known as “Putin’s Chef.” Prigozhin is linked to a sprawling empire ranging from catering services to the military mercenary company Wagner Group, which was reportedly tasked with assassinating President Volodymyr Zelenskyy

TikTok on pro-Putin network :
“We continue to respond to the war in Ukraine with increased safety and security resources to detect emerging threats and remove harmful misinformation,”
Propaganda comes from both sides: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vTkOoqK8vk
Meanwhile in the west https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/03/11/tik-tok-ukraine-white-house/
Russia is creating an astroturfing network on social media. It is being dishonest and manipulative in its techniques. It does not identify itself.
The White House is open about briefing pre-existing influencers on Tik Tok. The people it briefs are free to ask questions and note on Tik Tok that anything they pass along came from the White House.
These are only comparable at first blush. Any deeper digging and it’s clear that Russia is far worse than anything the White House is doing.
Thinking that Russia’s social media presence comes anywhere close to western manipulation is beyond delusional. The very fact that people think Russia’s manipulation is the one that needs to be focused on is itself a demonstration of how effective western propaganda is.
Russia literally runs a troll farm. People sitting in cubicles typing out messages that are designed to sow discord and FUD. It’s significant enough that it’s hard to trust that any pro-Russian message isn’t originating from there.
Thinking that Russia is somehow unique in running troll farms is the height of idiocy. If you don’t understand that you’re under a constant barrage of propaganda from western media then what else is there to tell you.
Until there is evidence…
Literal books have been written documenting decades of evidence
Furthermore, every aspect of western media acts as propaganda

Western propaganda permeates the very fabric of society

Just how brainwashed does one have to be to think that there is lack of evidence for western propaganda.
