Youtube will try to force a sign in otherwise which is bad for privacy.

invidious can’t do it sometimes.

Yes in some European countries you need to show ID to watch age restricted content. It’s stupid.

So you guys don’t need to do that?

I am german so I have to use an invidious server to watch it without showing ID…

Youtube DLG lets you download YouTube videos. I just checked and it also can download videos that are uploaded to reddit’s awful video player.

Or you may try odysee.com there’s no age restrictions, and many creators are moving there.

bonus: they don’t censor free speech like youtube
