    I think a big reason for this is that most people just view capitalism not as capitalism, but as the default way of things. They’re not actually all that aware of the economic system we sadly live in, and so when something like that happens, they don’t attribute it to the system.

      I definitely agree with that. Accepting the world that we live in as being a reasonable norm is a trap that’s easy to fall into.
