I’m so torn on this stuff. This is a fast way to bring EV prices down, but it consolidates even more manufacturing tooling and knowledge in China.
Tesla already gave them all that - that’s why there’s a surge of EVs in China. They really don’t need the West for this anymore.
Edit: Downvote all you want, but you should listed to the news report and then judge.
