Okay here me out. Imagine its like 101F outside (this temperature is hot to humans, really hot). If you were to put your phone in your sweaty pocket screen-to-thigh you will get condensation on the screen (due to being pressed against the leg, no ventilation style). The condensation might fog up your screen protector if you have other than the adhesive glass type. Additionally, any pocket lint in your pocket will get stuck to a sweaty thigh phone, making the screen gross and hard to see/use. The above principle applies for shirt pockets.

Top left. Also, pro tip: if you’re a dork like me who sticks their hands in their pockets and accidentally unlocks their phone with the fingerprint scanner, remove your non-dominant hand’s fingerprints and always put your phone in that same hand’s pocket. E.g. if you are right handed, remove your left hand fingerprints and always put your phone in your left pocket. That way you need to remove the phone from the pocket and transfer it to your other hand before you can unlock it.

If you do anything other than top left then I’m guessing the only reason you carry a smartphone is for the taste.

Seriously who the fuck does anything other than that? It would actually require more effort as you have to reposition the phone in your hand and THEN put it in your pocket instead of just putting it in your fucking pocket.

    God damn reprobates

I think the only way top right would work for me is if I was holding the phone with two hands, and then pocketed with thr hand that slid on top?

Bottom right, front left pocket. Wallet goes in the back right pocket. Keys go in the front right pocket.

This is the most correct answer, because it results in the phone being in the correct orientation in your hand when you take it out. fite me.

Android has a built-in feature to ignore inputs when the phone is in your pocket. It uses the proximity sensor near the earpiece
