True, but they have to pay to have some proxy win it for them. They’d prefer to just be able to appoint a president directly. Perhaps even themselves.

I had a WaPo subscription for like two months, and I had to give it up. Couldn’t stomach that I was paying the salaries of the people that write these opinion articles.
