I have a subscription to streaming services, any ressources on how I would download some movies/series ? (because of reasons)
You need to find a VPN before you begin. I use Private Internet Access (PIA) but there are others. Once you have that set up with a kill switch to stop internet if the VPN goes down you need to get a BitTorrent client. I use qBittorrent but again there are others. The it’s just a matter of finding torrents to download. Pirate Bay is one of the most popular.
I think I wasn’t clear enough : not looking to download available movies/series but to make them available in the first place. I tried yt-dlp to no avail, screen recording feels inefficient…

Probably could some kind of capture card. I wouldn’t be able to advise anything specific however.

You can’t, thanks to DRM. Your only option is to record your screen with something like obs.
yt-dlp allows you to download the files that are secured with DRM in the hopes of being able to remove the protection later, but until you can do that the video won’t play.
