This would be an alternative to lemmy-ui, with minimal changes to the Rust code (if any). So theres also no need for dess or me to get involved, anyone who knows webdev could implement this. Instance admins could then install it instead of lemmy-ui, or install both side by side.
In general I would really like to see more alternative frontends, as the Lemmy backend can do a lot more than just link aggregator. Such as a traditional forum or something like stackoverflow.

A feature I am really waiting for is commenting on a post from Mastodon and seeing all the posts from mastodon itself.
It sounds interesting, but we definitely dont have the time to create and maintain an additional frontend.
