    No because the shower head uses less water so I switch to it immediately.

      But it takes 2 more minutes to heat up. You end up wasting more water waiting for it to become hot enough

          Yeah, why would it take 2 minutes for the pipes to clear between the hot water heater and the shower. Does he live in a 250x1 yard/meter house? Hot water heater on one side and shower on the other?

        I would argue it heats faster because it runs slower through the coils
